DNSDeck is a native DNS management app operated by Avgeek, Inc.. It helps you manage DNS records across providers from your own device.
This Privacy Policy applies to the app and related support channels. By using DNSDeck, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Support details: email address and any information you include when contacting us.
- DNS provider credentials: API tokens and keys for providers such as Cloudflare, Amazon Route 53, Vercel, and Google Cloud DNS. These are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
- Communications: information you share with us in support or feedback messages.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and app information: operating system, app version, and device details needed for compatibility and troubleshooting.
- Crash diagnostics: standard platform crash data that Apple may provide if you choose to share diagnostics.
DNSDeck does not use advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, cookies, or tracking pixels inside the app.
1.3 Third-party services
- DNS zone and record information is fetched directly from the provider APIs using credentials stored on your device.
- Apple may provide purchase verification information as part of App Store distribution and billing.

- Apple for App Store purchases, receipts, and standard platform diagnostics.
- The DNS providers you choose to connect, because requests are sent from your device directly to those provider APIs.
We do not operate a hosted sync service for your provider credentials and do not sell personal information.

- We may disclose information to protect rights, safety, security, or investigate misuse.

- Provider credentials are intended to remain on your device.

- You are responsible for securing your device and using appropriately scoped provider credentials.

- DNS provider credentials stay on your device until you remove them or delete the app.
- Support communications may be retained as long as needed to resolve issues and maintain records.
- App Store purchase records are retained by Apple under Apple's policies.

- Access, correct, or delete information we hold about you where applicable.
- Delete local credentials and provider data by removing them from the app or deleting the app.
