These Terms govern your use of DNSDeck and your responsibility for the DNS provider credentials and record changes you make through the app.

Acceptance and Eligibility

By downloading or using DNSDeck, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be at least 13 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the app.

1. DNS Provider Credentials and Data

1.1 Local credential storage

To use the app, you may enter authentication tokens or API keys for third-party DNS providers. Those credentials are intended to remain on your device and are used to access provider APIs on your behalf.

1.2 Your responsibility

  • You are responsible for using properly scoped credentials.
  • You are responsible for all record changes made through the app using your credentials.
  • You are responsible for verifying provider responses and for maintaining your own DNS backups and change controls.

2. Acceptable Use

  • Use the app only for lawful DNS management activities.
  • Do not use the app to interfere with networks, domains, services, or accounts you do not control or have permission to manage.
  • Do not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app or related systems.
  • Do not use automated abuse, scraping, or unauthorized access techniques through the app.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use automated systems to scrape or data mine
  • Resell or redistribute the App or its content

3. Purchases and Refunds

DNSDeck is sold through the Apple App Store as a one-time purchase. Billing is handled by Apple.

Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy and any applicable Apple policies.

4. Intellectual Property

The app, including its software, branding, interface, and non-user content, is owned by Avgeek, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the app for personal or internal use in line with these Terms.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" to the maximum extent permitted by law.

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
  • We are not responsible for provider outages, provider API changes, or provider-side data loss.
  • You are responsible for reviewing DNS changes before applying them in production environments.
  • Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the app or $100, except where law does not permit that limitation.

6. Suspension, Termination, and Updates

We may suspend or discontinue the app, or restrict access, if needed to comply with law, protect the service, or address material misuse.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

7. Governing Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of State of Delaware, except where consumer law requires otherwise.
